Was about to order a pre cut belt with a clip. Then I found this. I was very skeptical at first. But I saw who was selling it and said, lets give it a shot. Waited until the temperature was up to 68 degrees and then went at it. Waited a full 24 hours with it clamped and it worked! Amazing how much more quiet it is. It also made the overall lathe running quieter. I am guessing that it tens to absorb the machine harmonics? Anyway installed this on my South Bend 9a lathe Horizontal drive lathe.
