    Hopefully effective.

    The instructions say to apply a thin coat to both surfaces and wait until it turns tacky. That's a difficult task for the exhaust bellows on a stern-drive, and it was already tacky before I could get a coat applied. I have to wonder if will be effective, but this is my first time using this product so give it the benefit of the doubt.
