Legendary performers like Korn, the Allman Brothers Band, and Creedence Clearwater Revival make appearances. Rockers like Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde also lend some amazing performances. In career mode, everyone tries to out-jam these legends. Songs like "Eye of the Tiger," "One Way or Another," "The Wind Cries Mary," "Kick out the Jams," and more challenge gaming fans along the way. So whether they're cranking out "On the Road Again," "Go Your Own Way," or "Up Around the Bend," every gamer receives an interesting challenge. Gamers can enjoy "Guitar Hero World Tour" solo or with a group. As music games go, this title utilizes a number of play settings. Career and quickplay modes offer gamers a number of chances to jam out on demand. Since the Guitar Hero games are retro compatible, just about every guitar controller works with every other title. A dongle is necessary for PlayStation 3 owners, so players want to be sure they have one available. PS3, PS4, and other PlayStation owners will need one USB dongle per guitar. A normal PS3 controller is used to play, but players may want to use a dedicated Guitar Hero instrument to have the most fun experience possible.The play consists of gaming operators hitting red, blue, and other colored buttons in perfect rhythm to what is displayed on the screen.
