    Good drive

    Bought this to use as a second drive in a laptop for data. Replaced the boot drive with an SSD. Sad to say, mechanical drives are a dying breed. Good for data backup. Not good for speed, noise, battery life and, especially, heat in a laptop. I have used Hitachi drives for many years and have had extremely good luck with them, so I would recommend them for the price, but SSD's are the way going forward.
