    New condition as described. Pleased with the purchase. Fit was looser than expected. 1911 triggers usually requiring fitting. This trigger dropped in but functioned satisfactorily. Something's wrong with the USPS... the item initially traveled 72-miles via truck, then backtracked 188-miles before traveling 784-miles via air and an additional 187-miles via truck. In all, 784-miles by air and 447-miles via truck. Total travel via truck would have been 533-miles.

    Excellent quality on a budget.

    I rarely write reviews, but this trigger is of superb quality on a very low budget. Shoe is machined really well with everything true and straight. Very straight. As others mentioned trigger bow is of thick stainless steel that has practically no bend to it, but it is straight and true throughout. Upon polishing entire bow and trigger top and bottom there are minimal to none highs and lows, which shows great quality. Pros: great quality, polishnes out well on primary sides, straight and true, operates perfectly, true drop in. Cons: 1) NO pre-travel or over-travel adjustments. I did not need any as I tuned gun for slow fire, so I want it to feel more like a 2-stage trigger. 2) Trigger shoe is NOT oversized. It drops in, not tight but wobble is very minimal. Almost perfect side to side, ...

    The end of the bow (where the disconnector rubs against it) on mine was all bent/mashed over on top - probably just one in a hundred... I filed it off and smoothed it out - the only reason for the three stars. Haven't installed it yet, but it appears to be decent quality.

    Perfect Short Trigger for a Great price!

    Very well made with satin aluminum finish on the shoe. Trigger stirrup is polished with clean edges. Installed it perfectly matches a stainless steel finish and fit is very close. This part was a true "drop-in" part requiring no fitting. This part cost a lot less than high-dollar aftermarket triggers, yet appears to be of equal quality. This part looks almost identical to the short trigger in my Springfield Armory stainless Mil-Spec and really improved the feel and trigger reach of my Colt Defender!

    Quality trigger

    Easily installed into my Colt 1911 1091. Dropped right in and didn’t require any modifications. Feels/operates great and definitely looks better on the stainless gun than the stock long black trigger. Combined with an arched mainspring housing and wood grips, the gun’s now perfect!

    well made, drop in trigger

    After installing target grips on my 1911, I felt the trigger was too far forward. I wanted to try a "short" trigger without spending much money initially. This trigger fit the bill perfectly. With minor polishing, it dropped right in and works great. The only thing missing; it does not have over travel adjustment, But with the short pull that is not a big issue.
