Some Oneida, spoons were fine, but three were very dull and looked as though steel wool had been rubbed all over the spoon part. In photo, the green arrows point to the three spoons that lacked the shiny finish. The purple arrows, point to my own 44-year-old spoons, after being used on a daily basis. The orange arrow indicates one of the spoons from this order that had the shine intact.
