It has many "clever" features, very good sound quality and is small enough to fit anywhere in the house.

Good sound but when paired with other speakers it had a lag in the sound and no option to synchronize them. That made it worthless to me. If you only need one speaker, it is a great item. But as a speaker in a pair, it is no good.

Love my Soundtouch system. Very sad Bose is discontinuing so I bought more. Wish I had known so I could get a 20 or 30 brand new.

Sound: Excellent. Plenty of bass, which can be reduced to taste. I listen to symphonic music as well as jazz pop and acoustic; the Soundtouch has the full sound needed so an entire orchestra sounds rich, not mushy. Smaller ensembles (jazz, chamber music) also produce vivied sound. App: Great for streaming radio stations, podcasts and streaming services like Spotify. Less great if you have an extensive home library, which depends on your home network, and whether your Internet provider is consistently dependable (no throttling or mini-interruptions). No folder view for that either, which for a collection that is not song-based, such as classical or jazz, makes it hard to browse or pick what you want.

Typical Bose sound. Always very good. This speaker connects to everything I own including my Wifi. I recently purchsed a brand new one for 50 percent off. It's a dated device but still future proofed. Great deal for a 100 bucks
