    Good, happy with purchase

    Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm, the new slide cover that holds the clip is not as tight as other brand, could be just a machining error. No malfunctions with operation or shooting, does not effect holstering or drawing the firearm. Clip tension is tight enough to hold the firearm, but easy to holster and draw. Other brands have too much tension in my opinion.

    Clip draw for a 9mm Shield

    If I carry my Shield inside my pants the clip draw conceals it well. However I don't care for it because I don't have much of the gun to grab onto in a rush situation. I am an average sized guy. I don't know how guys with bigger hands would be able to use it.

    You'll never wear a holster again !

    All my handguns now wear this clip. No more hot, bulky, uncomfortable holsters to have to mess with. Put this on, put it in your pocket and it's instantly ready if trouble comes your way. The spring tension holds it very securely. Could you run and jump with it and it not fall out of your pocket ?? Mmm, I'm not sure, but I've never had one slip out of my pocket either - it had to be a deliberate draw on your part. I would say if you're climbing or doing extraordinary activity where you'd normally want retention like a thumb break or strap holster for extra security that may be the way you'd want to go but under normal everyday use, it is perfect. Doesn't print and stays close to the body, very easy to install. Many including myself have bought holster after holster trying to find what ...

    Works as advertised but..

    The Teflon paint coating started flaking of after the first week of carrying, right on the tip of the clip and where it touches the gun. Right now looking for alternative protective paint to touch it up with.
