Since we didn’t know where the shipment was and it took longer than expected, we ended up buying another one elsewhere.     Just as described, worked well after formattting.

    I would not say it is better than expected, but it is about what I expected. My only minor issue is that it is a little noisey when doing seeks. The computer is in my bedroom and I do backups every night at about 4 am. It's like an alarm clock. The speed seems adquate. All my other drives are solid state so it is hard to make a comparison. I don't know yet if it's reliable. Ask me in a couple years. I am satisfied with the drive and the price. Delivery was a little slow but for warned.
