Ordered on Jan 10 2023, seller didn't ship until Jan 20th 2023 and I'll add that he shipped it the cheapest way that he could as it arrived Jan 30th 2023, completely unacceptable and will not deal with again. I have received items from CA in a much more timely fashion. And when I sent a message to him asking what was the delay, here comes the excuses. Again, I will not purchase anything from this seller, never again. Communications stunk.

Modern replacement for an outdated battery.
The Simpson 260 Series 5P multimeter is an excellent bit of kit except that it requires an obsolete 15-volt Eveready 417 battery. Fortunately, this bespoke lithium composite battery pack is an excellent, albeit not exactly plug-and-play, substitute. Installation requires a bit of soldering to connect its wires to the back sides of the existing battery terminals but that is not a difficult proposition at all. it took longer to open up the meter's case than it did to position the battery and solder the two wires into place. The package included a small piece of Velcro to secure the battery in position, but this was not necessary. The spring tension of the battery terminals is more than adequate. I cannot speak to the longevity of the battery pack as I only just installed it, but it's bound ...
