Very well built, Great Buy!
It fits the lens and camera perfectly. The aperture control is super smooth. When on a lens it feels as if it's an integral part of the lens itself. With focus peaking on my Sony, this really isn't a problem. You just have to follow the focus peaking and not your instinct to "crank it up to 10" if you want to focus to infinity. If you just set a minimum aperture, say f/8, you can smoothly rack the 50 1.4 between "open" and "lock" to vary the aperture from f/1.4 to f/8. It takes a bit of practice but you can do it slowly, and smoothly, enough that you don't see noticeable quantization of the camera's exposure.It fits the lens and camera perfectly. This is really a great adapter
As for my 50mm 1.4 FDn and my 28mm 2.8 FDn lenses, this adapter works exactly as advertised (from macro shots, to infinity shots of the moon and beyond). It's very good quality, the lock/open ring turns smoothly, and the connection to lens/body is tight. Some adapters tend to have a "roughly turning" lock/open ring and/or have a loose connection to the lens/body. It's only purpose is to extend the space between the sensor plane and the lens to mimic the distance between the lens and film plane in vintage DSLRs.
