    Great batteries for canon 5d Mark II

    I have owne these Vivitar batteries for 3 months and couldn't be happier with their performance! I waited to write a review to see how they lasted. I am an avid "professional amateur ". Shooting primarily weekends for a few hours at a time and have not drained these babies! I do have a extended grip on my camera that holds 2 at once and do not remove my batteries unless not in use for extended time. I would highly recommend and at an extraordinary price comparison to official Canon brand, plan to purchase another set😄

    I was hoping capacity was accurate...

    ...but it doesn't appear to be the case. The batteries didn't hold a full charge for a week, and fade quickly. Definitely not the rated amp hours listed. The worst part is that I went for the Vivitar brand specifically because I've had a bad experience with the Chinese batteries that was similar. I should have just bought the Chinese batteries, as the performance is comparable. Unfortunately, looks like nothing beats real Canon LP-E6 batteries, regardless of the ratings they stamp on these things.

    Great replacement battery for your Canon camera.

    Vivitar LP-E6 battery pack for your Canon camera is an ideal substitute to Canon branded battery packs. These packs are compatible with your existing chargers. Battery to camera communication is just like the original packs. Through first 2 years of usage, the Vivitar battery packs show identical performance to Canon packs. At the later part of 3rd year of usage, battery packs exhibit shorter power supply compared to Canon counterparts. The difference isn't big but is noticeable, indicating Canon's use of better quality cells. On the other hand, from the day one the biggest noticeable difference between the two brands is the one on your wallet. For the same amount of money spent you're able to purchase multiple Vivitar packs providing you a more versatile workflow. So if you haven't given ...
