Excellent filter, far superior to the black plastic type that invariably leaks from the end cap. Postage time was super, super looooooong internationally but it got here. Would be nice if they would make a 1/2” barb version of this metal filter that everyone is absolutely crying out for online. Demand is huge.

I installed a new transmission pan in the JK the problem being it`s aluminum It doesn`t have a large magnet like the metal ones do so this filter has a megnet in it and will remove the ferrous metal in the trans fluid even better I have already used this type of filter for the power steering as well

Genuine Magnefine filter, not a copy cat knock off filter. The difference is that Magnefine's internal magnet " floats" in it's own area of the filter. Gives you 100% fluid coverage. The cheaper " copy cat " filter's have the magnet stuck to one side of the filter. That leaves you with 50% fluid coverage. So, it's a matter of choice. Change the " copy cat" filter's every 5,000 miles, or change the Magnefine every 10,000 miles. Depends on you're driving habits on which to use.
