This cable works perfect for the XTS 3000. I’m using with an older laptop using Windows XP with a 32 bit system. I’ve read is has to be 32 bit or it won’t work. It plugs right into the serial port, and it may take a couple of tries to get it to work. On my computer it’s working on the Com 1 serial port. I didn’t have to install any drivers. Motorola’s are great radios but the CPS programming software for the XTS 3000 is a pain in the ass. At any rate, this is the cable to buy.

The cable worked as expected. Connected to the DB-9 port on my motherboard, and once I fired up an XP VM, I could program my XTS3000 units. The package was simple and professional, would purchase again if needed.

    Great product will buy again if need be

    I was frustrated because I could not get this Motorola radio Programed. This company said cable they had would work or my money back... Worked great so in very happy.... Thank you again.

    I would recommend this product, well constructed.

    I tried using this cable under windows 10-64 bit and would not work however it will run under windows 10-32 bit with no issues. Because of that I am very happy with the product. I have a desktop and a laptop with windows 10 running 32 bit and the cable works fine on both.
