About this product

Product Information

The WildView STC-TGL1 is an entry level digital scouting camera with some useful features. Whether you are into game scouting, wildlife viewing or simply for residential security, this game camera is certainly an effective choice. Like all other digital scouting camera or trail camera, this game camera will photograph anything that triggers it. That's why this TGL series camera comes with an external LCD which displays the number of trigger events. There is an external low battery indicator with this TGL series camera which gives you a quick status of the battery. The WildView STC-TGL1 is weather-resistant and you rough out a bit with it to spot that neighboring deer.

    Good, don't expect great

I bought this model of WIldview as my first trail cameras. If you have used more expensive cameras you might be disappointed. They have a slower trigger (so place it looking down a trail instead of across), batteries don't last as long (up to 1 month if you only take photos), and you have to be careful to follow directions when setting up. You can overcome all of those things though and they do take good pictures.

  • Do not waste your money, you are taking a big chance.

Know that when you buy a Wildview camera in this series that shares the same exterior box that there are many do's and dont's that come with it in the owner's manual. They say more than once to make sure the power is off before changing batteries or switching out an SD card. Mine quit working when it was set up. It had worked fine, then just quit working. The memory was not full. The batteries still had power in them. I had touched nothing on it. I had not violated any of the do's and don'ts. I had not touched the camera. It just decided to quit working. The test function illuminates on the LCD display, but the PIR function does not light up, neither does the green light that shows it is counting down and ready to take pictures. I cannot set the time. The camera simply decided ...

  • wildview trail cams

I have several Wildview cameras. I got some good pictures with them. The only problem that I have with them is that rain and wind sometimes triggers the camera. I am fairly new to trail cams, but am learning. I buy duracell batteries, and don't let them out too long. I read alot of negative reviews on them. But I havent had alot of problems. And most the time got pretty good pictures of the bucks in my woods that are nocternal and at the moment are driving me nuts. so yes I get good looks at them. I will see how they are in cold weather. so far so good.
