He also sold it without a power supply but made good on it and sent me a power supply from another seller. Big Difference in how they handled the issue. So be careful with this seller to carefully read the fine print. He offered to accept a return. Shipping cost made this option not worth it.

Good enough for what I wanted but it doesn't hold a charge for very long
Bought this because I needed a docking/playback station for my IPod Classic and they are almost impossible to find. The sound is acceptable it isn't great but it isn't horrible either. It doesn't hold a charge for very long but I was looking for something to use in our RV and travel so I will almost always use it plugged in. For the price I'm satisfied with the item. I especially like that it came with the carry bags for both the speaker which will also hold my IPod, and the power adaptor.Bought this because I needed a docking/playback station for my IPod Classic and they are almost impossible to find. I purchased one of these at the Sal Army for $6.50. It was a little beat up and I had now idea if it would work. Was not sure of exactly what it did but I new my older iPhone 4s would fit it. Plugged it in and it started blinking when I turned it on. Plugged the phone on to it and low and behold it asked if i wanted to download the Phillips app for it. I did. It was free. It ties into the internet for streaming music and pod casts and lets you save your favorites. Has options of clock and local temperature display, Slide shows with your pictures, and a timed shut off. It charges your phone when in the cradle and is completely portable when unplugged from the ac adapter. I am very happy with this product. The only problem was in the design which makes it difficult to place the Ipod on the dock. The connection is hard to make as you have to keep wiggling the Ipod into place. Other than that its well worth the money!
