extra dowload required for windows
I'll make it simple and readable in English. the scope works in either windows camera of the software downloaded from the manufactures website. you are looking for the hiviewsetup1.1 for windows. in order to install the software to windows. you have to download an extractor software. before you download the software from the manufacturer. I used breeZip from the Microsoft app store what's in the box exactly? microscope hard wired for usb direct plug, a small fully assembled stand, instruction in very small Chinese and English print. and a microscope alignment card. the website you need for the software is hvscam.com. then click on downloads at the top. scroll down to the software downloads.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonable quality for the price, software is problematic but can be worked around.
Very low price and the quality is about what you would expect. Device functions are reasonably good and the build is adequate for occasional use. The only major problem is software installation can be a problem for novice computer users. The software must be downlaoded from a Chinese site and instructions are spotty at best. The software is only partially functional on Windows 10. The device can be used with camera and web cam software so with a bit of trial and error alternate software can be used to view the camera output. Learning Curve
It took a while to get good at using the product. However when you do learn it has very good quality. It would have been very helpful to either include or suggest a better program to pair with it for use. Quick fix for fast microscopy!

Takes a bit of practice but awesome none the less
It's pretty cool. Makes hair look like tree trunks. Lol. The only difficulty I had with it was learning how to locate a spot It's all backwards like the game Halo. The play style I mean like when you get left it goes right and when you go up it goes down. Not too difficult for me but my friends had a little more difficulty with it but they've never played Halo. Just saying.... Still learning how to see germs and bacteria, It's capable of it I just have to learn how to make a slide and color die The bacteria to see them. As far as I understand it.
