    Couldn't tell you.

    Purchased two units at the same time. One worked and one was dead! Warm is prompt with emails and sent me a replacement board. But, it still didn't work. I sent both units back to Warm and I am currently waiting for my replacements. The company seems good, but the quality control needs some work. Purchased from NYAudio they clearly didn't turn these on at all. Audio gear needs a burn in period. When you purchase a pair. There should be a bench of these things all turned on and two should be culled from the pack with the closest spec's to one another. This is how it works. Just not in this case. Although, these units get great reviews. I couldn't tell you because they don't work.

    Certainly authentic enough and useful.

    This unit is far ahead of the Klark in tone and in my opinion the Hairball clones I've heard have sounded too bright and steely like the Klark. A 76 has a presence to it that some describe as "bright" but it's not harsh bright like those. The Warm lives up to its name and more or less sounds like a Rev D. There are versions of this with internal and external power supplies; the circuit more or less remains the same other than opamps which are socketed and can be swapped easily from 4560's that they used to use to TL072's that they use more recently if you want. The Cinemags remain the same and are the heirs (literally) to the Reichenbach originals. I have a pair of these for less than I'd pay for a single unit of a clone that sounds better than this. I'd also argue these are better than ...

    high quality; lots of bang for the buck

    this compressor is simple to use and produces pristine results I really love it on bass and drum tracks, but where it really shines is on vocals. I highly recommend this unit if you're looking for professional results at an affordable price.
