Death May Die is a great board game, you should definitely play it!
I have not actually gotten to play this particular expansion yet, but Death May Die is one of my favorite games and I expect this expansion will provide me with many more hours of gameplay to come. Artwork and miniatures are all great, the cards and board pieces feel very high quality. The game itself is a ton of fun and I have played a decent amount of the core box and the Goat of the Woods expansion. I feel like this expansion will be no different, and I am very happy to add it to my ever growing collection. As for the gameplay, it functions as kind of a shoot em' up/beat em' up, with a few extra interesting mechanics. It's challenging but never feels unfair. This expansion nearly doubles your game components, adding new monsters and a new Elder God (final boss of doom) I don't believe it changes the overall gameplay, possibly there are a few gameplay mechanics new to this expansion, but the overall game will be the same, so I feel confident in reviewing this expansion without actually having played it. Noble Knight Games is, as always, one of the best places to find board games and RPG books. They always have a large selection, even some rare items, all for a very fair price. As usual, they had the best price on this game.
