Exact replacement of the original part.
This replacement was exactly what I was looking for. My original part had the spring inside worn out thus it did not lock in blades to the stem anymore. The new on has a strong spring and locks all my cutting disks in place and works fine. One word of caution --- I am not washing this new part in the dishwasher as I think that caused the spring to go bad. Enjoy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New and Improved
Just received my brand new Cuisinart chopping blade. This replaces the blade in a Cuisinart I’ve had for probably 20 years. I noticed a crack in the base and decided to replace it. The new replacement has changed the design in that the blade is no longer riveted to the base but rather molded in.
