Too Big to Handle Easily*
As one who is most often alone, it's awfully hard to place this exceedingly large electrode on one's own shoulders. I couldn't get good placement without removing it and losing a bit more stickyness of the gel pad with each move. This might work better on the knees, since they're at the front of the body and more easily accessible by a solitary individual with no access to assistance. Additionally, I've used smaller electrodes and found them to be more conductive of the electronic current than this seems to be. Perhaps that's due to my poor placement of the pad? In any event, rather than the usual electronic current stimulation I've felt in other portable TENS units, this feels more like a lousy masseur/masseuse who's just learning how to give a massage with lots of awkward and excessive THUNK-A-DUNKA thumps. My body feels more like a blacktop roadway being jackhammered than anything else. However, the stimulator does seem to be of good quality and there are lots of heftier levels left that I didn't even try to access. Still, for my purposes, I neither think it's a good value nor would I recommend it for the purpose for which I purchased it (neck spasm originating in the shoulder muscles) if one has no one to assist in putting it on. Apologies to the manufacturer if I've unintentionally done this product a disservice. *(Photo shows the span of the electrode pad across an entire back from left to right)

The product with great features that works.
Great product, helped the pain that I was experiencing. Put the pad on the area of my shoulder that was giving me problems, it did the trick. I did it about 4 day a week, for about two weeks, and it worked. I'm not having any more pain so far. I do know if it works for all pain, but it did for me. The vibrating on the trouble spot, felt good. I really like the control buttons, and the how can put the pad on different area of the body that is causing the pain.
