      Great stereo!

      I liked this Sony stereo so much I bought a second one for my other car. I have an iPhone and am really impressed on how smart this radio is on managing phone calls and providing access to view my iPhone contacts at the dial. It also has great AM and FM reception.

      Great unit for the price.

      The MEX-N5000BT is a full-featured workhorse of a receiver. Installed it in my 2005 Town and Country, and can't believe the difference it has made in the sound and ability to modify the sound. Bluetooth worked perfectly with my LG Phone both for phone calls and music streaming. Versatile and easy to figure out, this was one of my better eBay purchases.

      Amazing unit with tons of features, not for the novice.

      The good: Great sound quality, independent 10 band EQ, High pass cutoff, slope settings, along with lowpass settings, lots of good features under the hood. Bright display, and can be customized to your color choice. I can easily advance tracks in spotify, add +in db gain to blu-tooth streaming and much more. AUX input, rca outputs, really for the price what more could you want. The bad: none really, other than having to pair each time you get in your vehicle. Also, like every company out there, eq presets are garbage, and it sounds bad out of the box. Take your time, play something familiar and work on it, this unit does a great job. Installation instructions are horrid, keep reading them, eventually it will click.

      volume problems

      every so often if my vehicle cranks a little to long stereo volume will not come on. it requires me to shut off vehicle wait several seconds and restart then volume returns this sometimes take 2 or 3 tries before it works. very disappointed with an otherwise good unit.
