    Best, most dependable 'all purpose' manual sharpener

    This is my 3rd one of these since 2003, used almost daily for sharpening my EDCs, box cutter blades and kitchen knives, this is the sharpener that maintains the bevel. Want a more polished edge and have extra time? the extra fine DMT sharpener with a black Arkansas stone and strop will take a decent blade to scary sharp. But for all purpose, daily maintenance, this is a great go to product.

    Sharper way to restore edge.

    I always thought my knifes and chisels were sharp but....... Never being able to get the edge that everyone talks about I gave this thing a try. Yes it costs a little more, but the old saying "You get what you pay for" applies here. In combination with a new leather strop my tools are now razor sharp and now I too can rave about the sharpness of my tools! Having your cutting tools this sharp also makes working with them a lot more easier, thus more enjoyable. With the lifetime guarantee I should have purchased this item years ago.

    DMT 8 inch Fine bench stome

    Haven't used this long but very pleased with the results from using it to tune up a "beater" plane bottom and blade which were both somewhat pitted. Used this and a companion DMT Coarse grade stone and with minimal effort, have a decent working scrub plane.
