    Older style of cartoon movie--but so worth it to see granddaughter enjoy so much

    This is the original version of Sleeping Beauty. Not in format most kids watch movies. I was a bit worried, but my 4 yo granddaughter loves it ! She watched it 3x in a row. I know I watched it as a child, but I could really tell it was older style of cartoon movie. No pixels, just different than movies like Nemo etc. So glad she loves it, the witch and her bird had her hiding under the blankets for a moment. She was glad for the movie, because all I could find online was Youtube video that was just still characters in reading book style. She really likes holding the foil type cover sleeve while watching the movie. She would say, "Gg, watch, here comes Prince Philip" as I was starting to doze off. Cute movie, worth the money for sure

    Disney Classic More Beautiful Than Ever

    Walt Disney's masterpiece of animation looks more gorgeous than ever on Blu-Ray. The picture is crystal clear, the remastered sound is glorious. Extras include a "Making Of" documentary, a tour through Disneyland's original Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough attraction, Disney's television show story of Tchaikovsky, the Cinemascope short "Grand Canyon Suite" and much more. If you love this film as I do, you couldn't find a better version!

    A Timeless Classic

    It should not be surprising that the production values on a Disney film would be first rate. Such is the case with "Sleeping Beauty" from 1959. All of the elements of a Disney classic are here; a compelling story with a moral lesson, great characterizations, elegant animation, and a memorable score. The breathtakingly beautiful restoration reveals a rich palette of colors, as well as a re-mixed surround soundtrack that is quite good for a film from this era. As a 3-disc, Blu-ray and DVD set, this is a great buy that will entertain not only children, but the child in all of us.

    Characters forward and the backgrounds truly in the background - looks very three D. Excellent audio and extra features great too. The Story of Tchaikovsky - very entertaining and well done - other special features great as well.
