      What a Life saver

      I have a old Sony digits camera from the 90's that only use a 3 1/2" floppy to hold pictures, since the camera is still perfect, I needed a floppy drive to store and view these pictures, this self contained unit works just perfect, the best part is that this unit supports up to Windows 8, where most others I looked at only went to Windows 98E, not good with today's PC's. Great little unit and would recommend only this fine little drive unit, thanks for a great product for the price.

      Doesn't work with Windows 10

      This product would not work with Windows 10. I wasn't able to try it with any other operating systems, but on Windows 10 the active light was always on, even when no drive was inserted. It was recognized by file explorer, but would not actually read or write any disks. It might work just fine with Windows 7, but I really don't know, and especially since Windows 7 is no longer supported, I would not recommend this product. I would instead try a floppy drive made by Esynic or Tendak, those should work with Windows 10. I also tried booting from a floppy disc,and that did not work. Since that is outside the realm of Windows, it makes me wonder it even on a different operating system the drive wouldn't work.

      What a relief, too many pictures, so many memories. After losing all of the pictures stored on our home computer, bought an external back=up hard drive and the external floppy drive. Plug and play, absolutely....

      Doesn't work as promised.

      This is my second attempt to purchase a Sabrent external floppy drive that has failed. I've tried it on 3 different laptops and it won't function. Control Panel sees that it's there, but File Explorer usually doesn't see it or, if it does, it will not open the device.
