Really an awesome optic.
Right out of the box, I was off by about 3" at 100 yards. I was able to quickly get it sighted in. The reticle is crisp and clear. I found no need for the illumination (which is a good thing to me). Tested out the bullet drop comp from 100-300 and it honestly made those 300 yard shots too easy. My 67 year old step dad had no problem seeing the reticle, or hitting the 300 yard 10" gong and claimed he "really lilked it". He then took a WWII vet to a gun shop and showed him this scope. The 93 year old liked it and bought one himsellf. Eye relief is pretty flexible for me from about 2-4.5". I can even keep both eyes open while using this. This scope mounts just in front of my rear BUIS and the focus adjustable eyepiece hovers over it. This blocks the rear sight from folding up, but that's why I have the quick detach base. This optic has a nice solid construction. However that does give it some weight (just under a pound). I removed the picatinny rails and their screws which totaled close to one ounce. I also think they could have left out the illumination all together or made a model without it. The extra components only add up to more weight for me. I also used burriss's quick detach mount which seems to work ok so far. It's tough to unlock if you close them too tight.

Stripped threads
I had a competition 2 days after the optic was scheduled to arrive. It arrived on time, but the threads to put the cap on the battery were stripped. This will cause me to miss my match completely. Very frustrated. You would think a brand new product, something I was looking forward to all week, would work for at least a day. Unfortunately it has completely disappointed. I have no clue if the optic is any good, because I was unable to use it. My range was also very confused and disappointed.

Nice scope. Works well. Compare to Leupold AR before you buy.
I like this scope; however, I have to admit to buyer's remorse after looking through a Leupold AR scope. I prefer the Leupold reticle. That said, this scope was easy to mount and zero and I have no complaints with it.

Great optics
I have a couple of these. They are clear and acquire the target quickly. Great eye relief and CQ reticule in red and green. If the batteries die you still have a reticule in black. Mine hold zero great. I can easily hit at 150-200 meters easy. And for close up it is fast and spot on.

Great sight for a low price.
It's easy to get into the "Big Name" Products these days and spend the thousands of dollars to buy that name, but sometimes there is something that is not one of the big name products, but it performs as good or even better than many of those big name products without the enormous price, impossible?? Yes, when we look at Burris's Fast Fire III mini red dot sight. I own many, I think at last count I have 7 of these sights and I prefer them over all of the Trijicon RMR's and Leupold Delta Points out there. Why, you ask, the Burris Fast Fire III is flawless in function, damn near unbreakable and works in the nastyious conditions that Mother Nature can throw at it and the best thing is that it cost a fraction of what those big name sights cost, so I am not sure why you would spend those high prices, except that you want that name to impress people at the range.

Great scope, a bit heavy
I really like this scope. It did take about 30 rounds to sight in, but its perfect. Was able to plink targets at 300 yrds. with my pistol. It is a bit heavy, but it is well constructed. The reticle is very clear and with the focus ring I can dial in a licenses plate and read the numbers at 75yrds. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone. MAGA
