A Life Saver.......
Transcend Glucose Gel is an amazing product! So glad I found it. My son has type1 diabetes and from that, he now has gastroparesis which slows down his stomach emptying. So he is prone to low blood sugars and It is not possible to use old methods to raise his BG as they just stay in his stomach and don't get into the blood and cells. So with this BG GEL, I can have him hold the 15 grams in his mouth for a few minutes and it gets very quickly absorbed that way and raises his blood sugar rapidly.
