Perfect Fit
Sound is great for listening to the ball game, good for classical music, adequate for jazz and a little weak for cranking up and rocking out. Installed in 2001 Tahoe, first speaker removed was so bad it fell out of factory mount and this speaker was perfect fit in factory mount no adapter needed. Works great in 2016 Mustang with base stereo
Installed these on a 2016 Mustang GT with base stereo. I replaced the front door panel speakers - it did improved sound quality over stock speakers. The treble is clearer/crisper. Can't really tell about the mid bass, sounds about the same, but I have an after market subwoofer in the trunk. They appear to be quality build. I bought a second set to replace my rear deck speakers as a matching set will improve the overall sound fill. SUPER packaging! Good buy, bang for your buck!
I just wanted to elaborate on how wonderfully these were packaged and sent to me! They used at LEAST 6 mill black plastic, covered the ENTIRE box in it, and then covered most of that in shipping tape! You could throw this box in a lake, let it freeze for the winter, dig it out in spring, and the speakers would be dry as a desert! The speakers perform as expected, not SPL competition speakers, but I didnt pay for that, I paid for a decent sounding speaker for an old pickup, and they sound crisp and clear. There is nearly no bass, but that's a good thing if you want them to last, and you are better off buying a sub if you want bass. If you want clean mids and highs, at an amazing price, grab these speakers, at $10 a pop, you wont find a better deal!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
