    I bought a new Metabo battery nailer and it came with an almost useless 3 1/2 in. wide rafter hook. I swapped it with this 1 1/2 in. hook and I like it.

    Hitachi NR83A2 Rafter Hook

    Upon arrival the finish was deeply marred 3/8" down the butt end of the hook. The center pin doesn't seat properly with the notches. The foam gasket makes it easy for the hook to pivot if the bolt isn't firmly tightened. Bolt supplied has too big of a hex head to use a socket wrench to tighten. Washer pictured in listing wasn't included with mine. Seams to be a pretty decent hook if they sort out the hardware & finish issues

    Works like it should.

    I used it on my Bostitch N80 framing nailer. The rafter hook is very strong yet swings out of the way when not needed. My co-workers noticed how strong and easy to install it was. Much better than the plastic units available.
