Product Information

The Canon XF300 is a professional level full HD camcorder that is smaller and thus more lightweight than many of its competitors. A few of the other features that set it apart from the competition are the ways it stores the videos, the autofocus system, the microphone, and the LCD monitor. The XF300 has two compact flash card slots instead of the proprietary systems that many cameras use. While Canon avoided proprietary storage, they are proud of their Instant AF system, which produces a fast and accurate focus. The XF300 has a built-in microphone and the ability to plug in external microphones as well. Additionally, both the internal and external microphone are usable simultaneously. Finally, the LCD monitor is larger on the XF300 than competitors coming in at only 4 inches.
