    Matching HP Memory Is A Pain

    It has been hard to find truly compatible HP memory for the HP version of the Kingston HyperX Fury 16gig single stick. HP doesn’t carry their own factory replacement and their part number is nonexistent in their system. So I was delighted to find this memory, even though it had a manufactured date a few months earlier (for HP the T* nomenclature tells the 2 digit year and two digit week). I recommend CPU-z as a free tool to check memory latency because you need the new memory to match your current (unless you are upgrading all of your memory). Mismatched latency can slow down all of the memory.
