    A very nice lens.

    Beautiful and compact lens. The aperture ring movement is very smooth with distinct half-stop detents. The focus ring movement is also very smooth with just enough resistance to feel stable. The lens feels solidly built and has a very nice finish. I've only shot one roll of Delta 400 with it on my Leica M3 but I'm very happy with the image quality.

    It's like two lenses in one

    At the largest aperture, the lens offers incredibly endearing character. Stopping down to f/5.6 and beyond lets the modern characteristics like contrast and sharpness shine. I don't see any focus shift in my example. The lens is a great value for anyone looking for an affordable, compact, and characterful full frame wide angle lens.
