Great studio amps, but may need some minor factor realignment. Easy to do.
This was a used unit, had some scratches, I knew what I was buying. I use to install these in high end studios during the 90's. Obviously after age they do need a factory alignment which can easily done. This unit was at a low price that did reflect it's condition. I am a electronics tech so a refurb was easy. After a good cleaning, new heat sink grease, new volume pots, and a factory alignment, it works like brand new. Superb studio sound quality. Some say the power transformers hum. Simply tighten the screws. If there is hum from the speakers, you do not have the CMR for each channel set correctly. Also bias for each side is critical for perfect balance and reproduction. Even if you find one that is in near new condition, you will want to verify the bias and CMR for each channel is at factor spec. We always sold these with a pair of NS-10's. I am using small a/d/s speakers for general playback just to get a different sound than that I get from my JBL4326'sVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
