Like taking an hallucinagenic drug
Although I have never taken such drugs, viewing this movie is so bizaar it must be like taking an hallucinagenic drug. This is the same guy (Burrough) who wrote Bladerunner so it's no surprise...a strange mind trip. No, it is not full of paisly go go dancers from the 60's; not like that. It just shows you how a normal average guy can slip into an alternate reality with just the right mixture of stress and paranoia. Peter Weller also demonstrates his versatility by breaking out of the sterotypical science fiction character of Robocop and into the much more complex demands of the exterminator/killer.
