Fast shipping - The photograph an original on stock appropriate for the era. The photo was inclosed in a clear envelope which was then secured between two pieces of cardboard nicely secured with tape. Finally all was neatly packed and sealed in a Mylar style shipping envelope. Very professional, and appeared well cared for throughout the post sale process. Would buy from them again. High recommendations. Thank you.

    Marlowe

An excellent film version of Raymond Chandler's "The Little Sister." This movie is also interesting for James Garner fans because it became the launching pad for "The Rockford Files" where the main character, Jim Rockford, evolves from Phillip Marlowe to a more recognizable Garner persona.

    Tongue-In-Cheek Marlowe

Marlowe, starring James Garner, is an attempt to capture Raymond Chandler for 70's feature films, not anywhere in the neighborhood of Altman's Long Goodbye made in the same decade--Garner is the glue that holds this rather ramshackle production together, Garner could make anything better just for his being in it--We also get a look at Bruce Lee, for, I think, his first appearance in an American feature film--He's not quite believable, he seems to have crashed (literally!) in from a martial arts film--His manic martial moves in relation to Garner's laid-back cool is actually pretty funny--Unfortunately Bruce comes to an inglorious end early in the film--For the most part, this "mystery" comes off tongue-in-cheek, befitting most Garner films--Rita Moreno gives us a sexy dance and the ...

  • Great popcorn movie!

A rarely screened film. A pre-Rockford James Garner doing an excellent laid back Phillip Marlowe. Nice scenes with Bruce Lee.

  • Great classic of James Garner and Bruce Lee fans.

Great movie! I always loved this movie because of the interaction between James Garner and Bruce Lee. Very underated classic movie.

  • An undefective detective

Well paced film with amusing comedy remarks from the characters. This might have been Bruce Lee's first appearance in a big-budget movie. His screen time was brief but certainly memorable. James Garner was at his handsome peak in this pre-Rockford detective yarn.
