    Ansel Adams...Multi Master Artist

Ansel Adams was a great artist. His work from being a pianist transcended his artistry to his photography. This great book shows the stages of his work as he went on in his career as a photographer. The captured image was not the end but the beginning of the final work in what he did in his darkroom. He took multiple trips to his photographic sites and at times waited till the time was right for him to click the shutter. If you are interested in his work this book is a great book to start with.

  • Great comprehensiveretrospective of his work

Outstanding retrospective of his work very comprehensive. Arrange chronologically as a very good index and then index as small snapshots with quick stories behind the photographs. Just went to a large exhibition of his at the Cincinnati Museum of Art. It was great to review the book and then go to the exhibit and see some of the actual photographs.
