      Slightly different than older versions but mostly interchangeable parts

      I purchased this brake because my existing brake of the same model dating from 1997 had the plastic spring cowlings break. The cowllings from the new brake fit perfectly but the locking screws are a different diameter, nevertheless the new parts I did use merged seamlessly with the original brake parts.

      This is an improvement over the shimano br-ct90. The spring tensioner cover is supposedly more durable. It comes with the straddle or link wire. It's easy to install.

      With these brakes you could Stop on a Dime.

      Great brake system, like the old campi center pulls. Easy installation and adjustment, like ten minuites per brake. These were a great deal about what my bike shop was charging for the pads.
