    Canon Vixia Camera for zoom

    I purchased this for Streaming our church service using Zoom. I run the video through a capture device that changes the html from the camera to input to the USB on the computer. The camera works great BUTI am having trouble gettitng good sound into zoom by sending the audio from a mixer (connected to Shure wireless mics) into the vixia microphone input. So, I am not blaming the camera but I can't figure out what I need to do to use the Vixia for the purpose I purchased it. If any readers have experience with this and know what to do, it would be great if they post a reply to this review.

    Multi-camera Zoom Meeting Camera

    Setting up for a multi-camera Zoom meeting, bought two non-brand-names and they just don't cut it. Finally decided to get a used older generation Vixia HF R300 and it works out better and cost less. It has real optical zoom, meaning no grainy close-ups; on-monitor menu display truly disabled, you get clean shots video and no worry about recharging or running out of power with AC adaptor.

    Wonderful camera

    I had one just like it, and the charger slot broke and I couldn't use it anymore. I was so glad to get another one just like it, so I didn't have to learn yet another technical camera. I only wish it had a flash. Everything is just great and I can enhance it in edit to add more light.

    Great for action movies, vlogs, and tutorials

    Shoots in AVCHD (.MTS Video format) or MP4 Mpeg4 which is compatible with most editors, computers, and smart phones. You can shoot at 24mbps all the way to 4mbps for those with low memory or weak computers. Shoots in 1080p 60i (essentially 60frames converted to 30 so slow motion is NOT POSSIBLE ) 1080P 30fps And 1080 24fps cinema. Low light is not bad but there will be grain. You'll need lights if you're shooting in the dark. Battery lasts about 30minutes. Get a 3000mah and it will last 3 1/2 hours.
