Worth the wait!
I've had an old HP Laserjet 3050 for many years (some would say too many). When I had a land line, it was nice to have a fax machine handy. The scanner wasn't anything to write home about, but it did the job. Several years later, no more land line, so no more fax machine (wasn't really being used, anyway). The scanner was still bad, but moving to Windows 10 made the problem worse. This M234sdw is quick on the warm up and ready to print once you turn it on. The scanner does an excellent job, so scanning images and documents (which I do more of) goes well. The printer is shorter than my old 3050, but it does take up about the same space for the base. But it's more compact and doesn't have as many nooks and cranny's for dirt to get in. The biggest change is the wireless printing. This means that everyone in the house can print to the printer without coming to my PC. And not needing any additional software on their laptops, phones or tablets is a big plus! So far, I'm really loving the printer! I've used many printers when I was working (I was in IT), and I've never really had a problem with HP printers. And the fact that I picked up the printer for less than I originally thought I'd have to spend makes it a big plus!
