Better than NEW!
This item was used but reconditioned by Ideal Precision Instrument Service who did such an excellent job, that unless you use a magnifying glass on the mounting lever arm finish, you would swear that it was fresh out of the factory. Five stars are not enough to properly rate this Starrett Gauge. Capt. Art

These have been around and improved over and over for over 100 years. They are not cheap. Starrett Dial Indicators are the reliability standard. My first came from my grandfather who bought it in 1920. It still works great. I bought this one for my Granddaughter. Hope she passes it on too.
