    Great upgrade from version 1

    I wanted the Sonos integration, so I replaced my 2-3 year hold v1. The setup and transfer went smoothly, and all my settings showed up in on the new hub - the Sonos integration is limited, but it has been useful. It's quite a bit smaller than the old hub - and it has been a little easier to add new z-wave switches.

    Recommended for 1st time Wink owner

    It's great product for home, but I would not recommend for upgrading existing Wink hub. I do not see benefits from going from Wink 1 to 2. Overall Wink is great product and I am one of early adapter, I have using system for 3 year+, I strongly recomend it. Support has been great and after years of using it, I have no regrets. Best home automation product in the market.

    Easy!

    Product was very easy to use to setup smart devices. I now have 5 lights setup, and, have my Ring doorbell and interior camera setup with it too. (Frankly, I prefer just using the RIng app for those two though.) May add a smart door lock, still evaluating it. I travel a little, and this gives me the ability to control my lights to give the impression someone is home.

    Nicely designed updated Gen2 Wink Hub that has very good responsiveness

    The Wink Hub 2 has been great. NOTE: I did not do a transfer of settings and moved all of my products over manually from the previous Gen 1 Hub. Positives: - Z-Wave Sensors and Light switches moved over easily. Unpaired them manually from the Old Gen 1 Hub and then they paired easily with the new Gen 2 Hub. It went very smooth. - Lutron Caseta Light Switches, Dimmer Switches, and Remotes paired easily. The Dimmer Switches and Remotes paired flawlessly to the new Wink Hub Gen 2 and are well supported in the Wink App. Some of the Lutron Caseta Light Switches (not dimmers, only on/off) paired with the new Gen 2 Hub however, they are not officially supported in the Wink App. I was able to get them recognized in the Wink App and they are usable, but not fully supported. - Was easy to pair some ...
