      Absolutely the overall best portable air compressor/tire inflator!

      After doing a considerable amount of research on various units available on the market, I decided to go with the newest Kobalt Electric Portable Air Compressor/Tire Inflator, for several reasons. First, its one of the few compressors out there, that can run on BOTH DC (off of a car battery) as well as on AC, (plugged into an outlet) which makes it very versatile, in that I can use this both on the road as well as in my shop. Secondly, it has a digital read out, which is very easy to read, and its easy to use. Just set your desired PSI amount, with up and down arrow keys and push the start button, and it will fill your tire and then will shut-off automatically when you reach the desired PSI pressure. And in checking it with a high-end, professional grade tire air gauge, I found that the ...

      Kobalt air compressor does the job

      I wanted to have something at home and on the road to keep my cars tires at the correct PSI. I like that it works by both 12V/120V, it's easy to set at desired PSI with auto shut off, quick to use and easy to store. It's not the quietest thing in the world but so what. It feels substantial, not like it will break any time soon either, I looked at similar units and I'm happy that I bought this one.

      Love it we have three, one for each car and purchased two more for gifts. Easy to use and better than most. Let’s you know how much air is already in the tires and stops at the pressure you choose. Nice thing is it’s also electric

      Great dual powered unit

      Love the digital readout and programmable shutoff feature this offers. It’s easy to find, looks totally different from others and like having grab handles. Solid built and does what it is designed to do. You will need an extension cord for the 120v hookup, but plenty of cord available for the 12v.

      Great AC/DC inflator

      Great inflator. I always had problems before, with carrying these small compressors but this one has four handles that will not fail. My best use for this unit is as a tire inflator. You can lock the inflator tube onto the valve stem and plug it in. You get a read out of the pressure before you inflate. There is a second value in the bottom right hand corner of the screen that indicates the desired pressure. Using the up/down buttons you set the pressure you want and everything else is automatic. It will run until the desired pressure is achieved and then shut itself off, no checking pressure while filling. It's RELATIVELY quiet and fast. I usually set the desired pressure a pound or two above what I desire as some is lost when disconnecting the inflator tube. Although this unit ...
