The must have item if you use SONOS!
Setup: 5 out of 5 for ease Easiest thing to do, simply plug in open app and search for item and then link to you WiFi! Installation: 5 out of 5 for ease You get a template to tape to wall to make screw holes and find studs. Then a mini block level which is a nice little tool if you don’t have one. Then the way it mounts to the wall mount is perfect. To have the bracket flat against wall with 2 lock bolts attached to makes it so easy to take on and off wall and look like it’s flush. Design: 3.6 out of 5 I love the look of the PLAYBAR however it’s not wide enough. I have a 80” TV and it makes the PLAYBAR look like it’s tiny. I’d want it at least 45-50” wide. No Bluetooth or remote control
I purchased this before doing my due diligence and went with the recommendation of my son. My biggest issue is that there is not a remote control to control the volume, and it does not have bluetooth. I have to connect via WiFi, however, I live in a relatively rural area with very slow LTE internet and spotty service, so it’s not very user friendly for me. I have connected Alexa to this, so as to assist with volume control, but it doesn’t work very well, I’ve also tried to program my DIRECTV RF remote to it, but no luck on that. Great sound and phenomenal experience!
I bought this as a starting point for building my 5.1 system. The playbar looks great and is flexible enough that it will fit w/ your TV location. Moving to features, I absolutely love the fact that I can control it via my iPhone. It works well w/ Spotify and others services. Sonos Playbar a complete solution
Sonos original playbar is still a very strong solution. I have it connected to my TV via fiber optic cable. Volume using the TV remote works great. I immediately upgraded the Playbar to be compatible with S2 controller and that process was flawless. Negatives include not having HDMI, no airplay and no internal assistant capabilities. I think these are minor however newer sound bars at this performance level usually have these options. Music listening experience is very similar to listening to a pair of play3s. Great mid bass for almost all music. Quality sound at all volume levels. Highs are normal sounding. TV shows and movies sound really fills the room. This sound bar does a great job of clear reproduction. You will find that you can listen at a lower volume level and still hear all sounds. Summary now that the Sonos Arc is available you can find the Playbar in the $300-500 range. At this price point it’s an excellent value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best midi range to hear the Instruments NOT only VOCALS!
I have a Rokutv and a Sonos Play 1 which I use with YouTube YouTube premium and Sound cloud with my iPhone. I love good old outdated music from a long time ago and musicians WERE really creative artists who knew how to play something called an instrument…It was fabulous in my day of course;-) when people heard songs randomly on the radio and we got so excited to hear our favorite song—one or two new great songs per Summer same for albums in a year. We’d sit down in someone’s living room, smoke a joint, and listen to the entire album while reading the album cover inside and out. Versatile sound bar
It may be a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The bar is excellent as a tv sound bar and performs quite well. It offers options to expand to reach higher levels desired in sound. It also is very useful as a independent wireless music system with many options to choose from that will play through it. Sounds quite good in a apartment or nice size room setting. I strongly recommend this speaker for the reasons outlined above. If you love music, this is a great speaker to bring it to you.
