    Very Strong At First, Fades to A Lighter Scent

    This is, indeed, an authentic product. That aside, I do like this perfume. It is, overall, a nice perfume. It's very heavy at first, and eventually fades into some of it's more woody notes. It's supposed to have pink pepper and orange blossom as its top notes, jasmine and coffee for it's heart notes, and vanilla, patchouli, and cedarwood as the base notes. I can barely smell much but the vanilla and a touch of the orange blossom when I first spray it. Over time, the strong (it was shockingly strong, at first) scent of the vanilla fades some. I did not like how prominent the vanilla was for the first couple of hours of wear- it reminds me of a perfume you'd wear in middle or high school. As a young woman wanting to go for more of a refined scent, I was less than pleased with the prominent ...

    Love the "real" Parfum

    I don't feel this is a genuine product. The bottle is different from the one I purchased at Dillards. The scent doesn't last . I paid half of what it cost me at Dillards, but it's no bargain if it's not real and doesn't last. The scent is not quite the same either. The "real" Parfum is wonderful!! Been using it for 3 years,and get compliments often. It's light and fresh and lasts all day.

    Very refreshing fragrance

    I am a fan of Yves Saint Laurent fragrances, so Black Opium is no exception to the legacy of refreshing, alluring, and captivating scents. In my opinion, the fragrance is a mesh of a mild woody tone-settled by a warm sensuous nectar aroma. It is quite alluring and long lasting since it is an eau de parfum. I recommend this scent as a morning or night time fragrance.

    This fragrance smells lovely and was s great value purchase. Unfortunately it is not a long lasting EDP. It is perfect for the summer evening outings. Warm,semi sweet notes gourmand blended with vanilla & coffee bean undernotes.

    Great Deal for my favorite scent!

    Omg! This scent is amazing! It’s definitely one of my top 3 fragrances. I’m so glad I found it at such a good deal for such a big bottle. I was about to spend more at a cosmetic store. It smells so comforting. Not to light. Not too warm. Perfect. Also note that it comes very well packed so everything arrives in one piece with no dents in the outer packaging either.
