Love this machine
this sewing machine is the perfect one for me. It has easy to use bobbin threader, threading and needle threader. I like that it runs very smooth and quiet and has sewing features that I love including needle position changing with one touch, select and set all the stiches and variable needle position. Wonderful compared to my old Singer!
I love the automatic needle threader. Goodby to poking a clumpy thread through a small hole. Love the automatic bobbin threading. Love the automatic tension, which holds the thread just perfectly! I have not used very many of the types of stitches, and I am looking forward to doing that. I have been mainly altering clothes. I am also looking forward to trying out the extra attachment feet, including the rolled hem foot. Easy Sewing
I don't use the machine everyday. It is very easy to use since my old Singer was 46 years old. The only complaint is that I am left handed and the presser foot lever is on the right side (the lever on my old machine was in the middle). I will get use to it . Lightweight with simple operation
I checked online for the best sewing machine in my price range and all reports came to this mode giving rave reviews l. The only problem I have is threading the needle with the threader unit. I have tried every which way and still can not get it to work for me. The manual did not help so I searched YouTube for tutorials and also Singer sites for help. Great machine, good deal happy customer.
This was a mega deal this machine costs a whole lot more even used in many places. This machine is steardy and strong. I was quite intimidated at first , but got online dowloaded the manual and then hitted the videos everywhere. I purchased a refurbished machine once, and it never worked properly this one I just put in the right thread the right tension and ran the test. It has many features like 100 stiches all working. It came with most of the original attachments, and I purchased a few more online. I'm learnning more everyday about how to use all the special features and having a ball. I had for a short time but so far real good. Photos below the machine, doll outfit first projects the machine cover another project.

Instruction manual needed
I love the machine but it needs an instruction manual. It comes with a dvd but if you can’t play the dvd then it can be difficult. It did come with a big fold out instruction paper for threading but I wanted to know more about the stitches and what tensions to use for the multiple stitches available. I still can’t figure out how to use the auto threaded. I have removed the needle because it seemed to not match up with the auto threaded. Still doesn’t after removing it. The needle hole and threaded do not match up. I didn’t buy it for that reason but it’s why I gave it 4 stars along with the missing paper manual.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Affordable with great features!
My sewing projects are usually costume construction and some quilting but I would like to expand my skills to include simple everyday garment projects. This machine is good for all of those things. I spent a long time researching different Singer models. I almost got the Singer Confidence but then found this Stylist factory refurb which had more features but cost less! I can see why it got the Best Buy award. My favorite features are the top loading bobbin (it's been on my mental wishlist for years), auto up/down needle position setting, mounted thread cutter, automatic thread tension (how did I live without this?), stitch length/width customization, and needle threader. No feet!!
Very easy to use, Machine is quiet and smooth operating. Singer has a great warranty on their products. Very good features such as, needle threader, use without the foot pedal and an enormous number of stitches for use.
