Works great after taking for some time
After trying Prevagen a month the first time, I didn't seem to notice much change, but I tried it again and after a month, I noticed a big difference. I had memories flowing back from my youth that I didn't remember as well before, and I've always had a good memory. Now it's great. It takes time to work so don't give up. Too early to tell but - see some improvement
So, i have issues with my short term memory. Have been struggling a lot, for very long time, searching for help, getting none. Recently (few months back) my Dr. recommended to try Prevagen. He also mentioned that i need to take it for about 4 - 6 months before i will notice an improvement. It only has been second month that i am taking it. To tell the truth - I did not believe it would help, since I have taken so many different supplements for many years and nothing worked. But, I honestly started to notice some interesting moments (not drastic, but rather subtle... ). For example, I work within an IT field and there is a lot of information that i need to remember, retain and recall. I usually have to write everything down or else - it will be gone for ever and there would be no sign of that info within my brain, like it never existed. Well, now, to my surprise, sometimes i catch myself recalling things I did not write down (though i needed to) or did not have chance to note/jot down. And it feels good, you know! So, I can tell that i see some light at the end of this tunnel of disappointments and looks like it is the actual light, not the train :) I gave it 3 stars because i want to make sure this is not just a placebo effect. I will give it more time before i will provide a real, experienced feedback/review of this product. I just dont want to imply some false hopes for anyone. Friends and family use this product and swear by it. Not recommended. Save your money.
Not a proven supplement. The active ingredient is supposed to be a protein found in jellyfish. This protein breaks down in your digestive system to a group of common amino acids. I felt conned. Prevagen results not as great as they say
hard to say how well this OTC product works since it hasn't been studied, not FDA regulated, etc. but very pricey. I have been diagnosed with mild onset of dementia and have been taking Prevagen for a couple of years and am unsure of its effect, positive or negative.
