This Netgear CM600 opened up the extra bandwiidth that my ISP was sending, but my older modem couldn't handle. Now my speed has increased from 80 Mbps download to 140 and above, and 10 Mbps upload to 25 and above. Also, now I can run more devices on network. EASY setup! Netgear's GENIE App makes this versatile, safe, and you can see and tweak your settings and check for firmware updates etc. Highly recommend for the price range. Good value 24x8 cable modem
Netgear has (from my experience) always mode good quality products and this modem is no exception. Our cable service is 100 MBs down and this modem is more than capable of handling this service level. This is the one to get until Docsis 3.1 becomes practical.

Great modem on a budget!
My old modem lost support from xfinity recently and I needed a new modem since my old one was having problems. I saved about 80 bucks by buying a used one.
