My former TCM-150 took an adaptor making it possible to plug into a power outlet. I am not new this product. My late husband and I used to take it into the bush and record birds. Broken Upon Arrival
Cassetts init was described as "microcassete" recorder but was actually a standard size cassette unit. Unfortunately, after I bought a 6 pack of normal sized cassettes and fresh batteries, I found the unit did not evev work. The "reverse" button was inoperable.
