    Great feel, moderate weight

Am happy with this stock. It is slightly heavier than a wood Barracuda stock but the adjustability of the cheek piece and the butt end make up for it. I did have to grind out the magazine relief as the magazine was binding. Used my wife's lipstick on the magazine, inserted it, and ground out where it was binding with a dremel. I also had to cut the bottom of the stock as I use a trimag. Placed a single magazine in the receiver, scribed a line on the bottom of the receiver magazine junction and ground a 45 degree bevel. Cut the front and back side with a hack saw blade. Put the trimag in then with the lipstick to see where it touched and ground it until it didn't bind. Works perfect now. Would have been five stars if I didn't have to fit the magazine. Would buy again. Don't tell my wife.

Good looks and function, be prepared to modify

So first, the modifications to expect: When you test fit your receiver and especially the magazine, be prepared for it to not fit....way too tight. You will need a dremel, a rasp or file and perhaps some sandpaper to remove casting flash from where the receiver fits. Even after removing the casting flash it's going to be very, very tight. The mag just won't fit, especially toward the rear of the stock. Be prepared to file. My barrel channel was slightly tighter on one side than the other but check it. You don't want adverse pressure on one side. Now, all that being said, once I got everything fit, I love the stock. It's adjustable, it looks great, has a built in lower rail and a good grip. I will probably add some grip tape since there are no serrations molded in from the factory. Some work required, but worth the work. 3 stars because it's not perfect from the factory.

  • Very nice adjustable stock for the price.

Very well made. Installation instructions and online video were very useful. Only comment would be that adjusting may be difficult for the younger shooter (turning the adjustment dials can be a little difficult). But once the adjustments are complete and set up for the shooter, it is a great stock

  • Great Conversion for Ruger 10/22....

This makes a great stock for the Ruger 10/22. The Adjustable cheek rest and stock length are excellent. My only complaint is that it is not a "drop in" fit. I spent an hour with a dremel tool relieving material to accomplish a fit. Very Frustrating. None-the-less I love this stock. I wish I had one on my Remington 700 STS instead of the HS Precision, which weighs a ton and is as ugly as a smashed cow pie

  • If you have tried it you don't know how much it will benifit your shooting

I love my Ruger 10/22 but the stock must be made for youth. I have a scope mounted and when I had a chance to grab a quick shot at a jack rabbit, I struggled getting to the center and right distance on the eye relief on the scope. With the stock length adjustment I got my finger to the right place on the trigger and distance to the scope. The adjustable cheek piece, put my eye dead center on the scope. Jack rabbits beware.

  • Well made, good fitting stock.

This Ruger 10/22 target stock makes a good platform to build an accurate target rifle. It is well made, good fitting, and has a lot of features normally only found in more expensive stocks. Easy to adjust to fit different size people.

  • I recommend this to to anyone wanting a cheaper stock that feels great.

seems to be a well made of a plastic or polimer material which fit my heavy barreled 10-22 very well. looks pretty cool with pop in sling swivel holes and rails for a bipod ot forward pistol grip and comes with a rail cover.

  • Great product even if hard to install.

Works as expected. I did not have to trim anything to install my 10/22 but it was EXTREMELY hard to get it to seat in the first time. I hope it is easier after it the receiver sits in the frame for a bit. I now bring the rifle up exactly in the same scope position each time and it makes a world of difference if you are using a cheap scope.

  • Excellant stock for the money.

The fit was perfect and was able use adjustment to fit the to me very will . The adjustment were a little hard to do at first but got easier to do as I moved them trying different positions. It came with some nice extras bolt recoil buffer and a moveable pressure point for barrel. For the price and quality it can not be beat buy it and good shooting

  • Low quality, must modify

It is very unfortunate that I have to give this stock a poor review as it looks nice and is very functional. However I had to remove quite a bit of material using a Dremel as tremendous interference for the magazine. Went through five sanding wheels taking material off and was getting a bit concerned I would actually sand through the sides before I got enough material off. Personally I would not purchase this product until some assurances the manufacturer is capable of tighter tolerances.
