Tomstone As It Should Have Been Seen Originally
A great movie deserves being seen in the format the director originally had in mind. Sometimes scenes are deleted for various reasons. Not always a good decision. The Directors Cut of Tombstone is another milestone in the history of one of the very best Westerns ever filmed. If you love this film as I do, you will be more than happy purchasing this orginal vision of it. Watch this film and enjoy the special documentaries about the making of the film and what went into creating one of the Top Ten Best Westerns ever produced. The main characters discuss their thoughts and subtexts they used in creating their roles and what those perfomances meant to them at the time of filming and on into their lives. Buy The Directors Cut of Tombstone and sit back pardners and enjoy once more Tombstone. You will not be disappointed in this DVD. The remastering and the wide screen format is superior and once again you will thrill to one of the best supporting actor performances by Val Kilmer in the role of Doc Holiday. First of all, this movie is probably our favorite western or close to it. Second, this movie is a “must have” on any guys movie list. We lent our original movie out to someone, then my husband wanted to watch Tombstone and we remembered we lent it to somebody and could not remember who. So, I rescued the loss by ordering a "new" one online and happiness reigned again among the lands. That poor DVD should be tissue paper by now, it gets played over and over. We like this version of Tombstone better, it's more entertaining and everyone uses the "I'm your Huckleberry" line when we say we watched it.
